RainFocus set out to position its annual INSIGHT conference as the premier event for event professionals, marketers, and tech decision-makers. The goal? Demonstrate the power of their platform while engaging a discerning audience of planners who know exactly what flawless event execution looks like. The experience needed to educate, connect, and inspire—while staying sustainable and cost-conscious. To bring RainFocus’s story to life, VDA designed an event experience rooted in immersion, innovation, and intentionality. The entire environment reflected the company’s digital-first mindset and ability to streamline the event lifecycle through smart technology.
From the moment attendees entered the venue, the experience felt elevated and unified. Branded escalator wraps, elevator graphics, and a bold entry arch led guests into a fully branded registration zone. Instead of traditional print materials, digital signage powered content delivery throughout the venue—minimizing waste while enabling real-time updates and a modern aesthetic.
At the heart of the experience was the diamond-shaped RainFocus booth, which anchored the space and served as a hub for product education and attendee engagement. Personalized demo tables and an intimate lounge encouraged meaningful one-on-one conversations, while the open floor plan created natural flow and discovery throughout The Campus.
The keynote stage design reflected the conference theme of innovation and elevation. With multi-dimensional scenic layers, mountain-inspired textures, and synchronized lighting, the stage became both a visual anchor and a symbol of the brand’s upward momentum. Digital signage replaced print across the venue, aligning with the client’s sustainability goals and enabling seamless content updates.
One of the most talked-about activations was The Repurpose Lab. This hands-on experience turned event scraps into attendee-made art, transforming waste into conversation starters. Dynamic stats, bold graphics, and an evolving digital photo mosaic encouraged guests to reflect on sustainability, not just as an afterthought, but as a design-first mindset.
